Terms of service.

Plain-English terms: you buy a license once, use it on your Mac, and if it's not for you within 14 days we refund you.

LAST UPDATED: 8 AUGUST 2026 · RECURSE LTD

The agreement

These terms are between you and Recurse LTD (UK) and cover the ShoutFlow macOS application and this website. By installing the app or buying a license you agree to them.

Your license

  • A ShoutFlow license is a one-time purchase granting you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on up to the number of Macs shown at checkout. Each licensed Mac must be owned or controlled by you or, for a multi-Mac pack, your organisation.
  • The license covers every feature of the app; there are no feature tiers.
  • Activation is checked online with a generous offline grace period; see the privacy policy for exactly what an activation involves.
  • You may move a seat to a new Mac by deactivating the old one (or asking support to reset its activation), provided you stay within the purchased seat count.

Trial

The free trial gives you the full app before you buy, with no account and no card. Use it to confirm ShoutFlow works on your supported Apple silicon Mac and with your workflow. Intel Macs are not currently supported.

Payments and refunds

Purchases are processed by Stripe as a one-time payment. If ShoutFlow isn't for you, email support@shoutflow.ai within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Details in the refund policy.

Bring-your-own-key providers

If you connect a cloud provider with your own API key, your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, and their usage-based charges are billed by them, not by us. We take no cut and add no markup; we are also not responsible for provider availability, pricing, or output.

Fair use

You agree not to:

  • share, resell, or publish your license key;
  • circumvent license enforcement or redistribute the app;
  • reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it;
  • use the app to break the law.

Updates

We may release updates that improve, change, or remove functionality. Nothing in these terms obliges us to provide any particular future feature.

Warranty and liability

ShoutFlow is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, or your statutory rights as a UK/EU consumer.

Termination

We may revoke a license obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms. You can stop using the app at any time; the refund window above is what makes that risk-free early on.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to its courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.

Changes

If we change these terms we'll update this page and its date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
